Refresh for Spring: Yin Yoga and Sound Healing for the Season
Both Yang and Yin aspects are needed to function properly in our lives and in our yoga practice. Rather than finding dynamic movement in and out of postures, like we experience in our flow or Yang practices, the Yin practice is grounding and slow. Yin and sound practices, paired with “yoga medicine” for the spring season, can create a mini-retreat for the body and can be transformative for the nervous system.
Join Jessica for a 90-minute practice that includes Yin yoga and pranayama (i.e. breath work) sequenced especially for the spring season. We'll end practice with a supportive savasana and sound bath with the crystal bowls and other soothing instruments. Prepare to leave practice feeling rested and deeply nourished as you flow through the changing of the seasons.
