Flow, Sunrise Flow, and Morning Flow
Move with your breath and bring your attention back to your body in our flow classes. These dynamic flow classes will get you out of your head and into a moving meditation; modifications are always available.
In our sunrise and morning flows, we awaken the body with breathe work, introspection, and a longer warm-up to prepare our bodies for an active flow. All levels are welcome.
Build heat and strength for a total body workout, while also cultivating a calm mind. This stamina-building class offers advanced poses, arm balances, and inversions. For those who are comfortable with flow and are wanting to advance their practice. Yoga experience is a plus.
Heated Yoga Flow is an energizing, strengthening, and invigorating class, characterized by flowing poses and varying sequences that are linked to the breath. Expect to move and breathe smoothly from one pose to another, building strength, energy and grace and releasing stress in the body. Practiced in a heated room to maximize the healing and detoxifying aspects of the class. Beginners with some yoga experience through more advanced students will enjoy the benefits of this class. Sweat, play and flow! A great style to build strength, stamina and flexibility while cultivation a sense of graceful peace and well-being.
Yoga for Kids & Families
Soul Strong offers two classes for kids and families - Toddlers and Crawlers & Family Yoga. Both are at our smaller studio, Soul Strong Sanctuary (503 E Main St.).
Toddlers and Crawlers is a fun-loving, active and supportive yoga class for parent(s), toddlers, and crawlers alike. During the class, toddlers get to playfully practice postures, such as laying, sitting, standing, and jumping. Parents get a chance to do some yoga themselves, while newly mobile babies and crawlers explore the mat, practice some yogic breathing, and get cuddles in Savasana. Expect lots of giggles, songs, and joy! Ages = crawling/scooting infants to 3 years old.
Family Yoga for ages 4+ is a time where kids 4-years old and up can join their parent(s)/caregiver(s) for practice in a light-hearted, interactive environment. Work together as a family through partner poses, breathing exercises, focusing techniques, & more! Cultivate a deep connection to one another by bringing a focus to love & gratitude. Family Yoga is a great balance of fun & relaxation for the whole family.
Price: Toddlers and Crawlers & Family Yoga are considered regular yoga classes at the studio. Please refer to our Memberships and Rates. If you are bringing more than one child, it’s an additional $5 per child.
The class is open to mothers at all stages of pregnancy. Prenatal students build strength and flexibility to support their growing bodies. Prenatal provides a space for community and sharing. Perfect for all stages of pregnancy. Relieve many of the discomforts associated with pregnancy. Connect with the body and calm the mind during such a transformative times.
Open to mothers and their pre-crawler babies. Postnatal students can begin after they’re approved by their doctor for yoga. In Postnatal Yoga, mothers can bring their babies. In the class, mothers will build strength and reconnect with their bodies, bond with their new babies, and build community. Postnatal Yoga is a wonderful time to restore, get a perfectly tailored workout for postpartum, and build connection.
Let the stresses of the week melt away. Calm the mind and body with this soothing restorative yoga class. This class requires little muscular exertion. Each pose is held for several minutes, and your body is supported by props – blankets, bolsters, and blocks. You will leave feeling nourished, well rested, and refreshed. No yoga experience necessary. All levels are welcome.
Relax into simply being in the here and now with the beautiful, expansive practice of meditation. In this hour, time will be broken up between exploring different meditation techniques and practices with time for questions and discussion. Our hour together flies by with this time for communal self-inquiry, making this class accessible to both the newbie and experienced meditation practitioner. Soul Strong offers weekly Beginners Flow classes! This class is perfect for those who are new to yoga or want to refresh their practice. Be sure to reserve a spot. We keep this class small so that our fabulous teachers can work with students on proper alignment and offer more attention.
Stretch & Flow
Warm up with a 45 minute yoga flow, and then melt into 30 minutes of Yin postures for the remainder of class. Yin includes long holds of deep stretches supported by props. This helps to release the muscles & let you find complete relaxation. All levels welcome.
Buti yoga is a soulful blend of power yoga, cardio-intensive tribal dance, conditioning, and deep abdominal toning. It taps into the movement that our bodies crave. Buti Yoga is not your ordinary yoga class! Come out and join us as we "Sweat with Intention!!!"
DEEP by Buti
Masterful and intentional, DEEP is restorative movement sequence that utilizes the Spiral Structure Technique® to connect mind to muscle and catalyze vibrational change on a cellular level. Unlike other Buti® trademarked formats, DEEP is low-impact and focuses on micro-movements with physical touch to connect the brain to innervated muscle and restructure the deep core. DEEP is designed to prevent injury, restore innervation and assist in the recovery of bladder/ uterine prolapse and diastasis recti. The class structure also includes self-massage and pressure point activation to release muscles during deep restorative asanas.
