The winter solstice is about celebrating the rebirth of life in all its aspects. The days surrounding the solstice may be some of the shortest and darkest, but soon, the sun will shine brighter to offer hope and positivity for the year to come. This is an extremely powerful time for personal development, self reflection, and co-creating your year to come. The winter solstice’s arrival coincides with the Cold Moon, or last full moon of 2021. The Cold Moon reminds us it is time to turn inward and find our ground, so that we may show up more fully in the last days of the year.
Join Sepi and Jessica on Saturday, December 18 at 7 p.m at Soul Strong Yoga to welcome the winter solstice and the Cold Moon with a ceremony centered around letting go and sacred self care. Since this is the ideal time to make a fresh start and we’ll take time to journal to uncover new and inventive ways to co-create with our highest selves as we prepare to practice as a community. Sepi will lead us through moon salutations to prepare us for a luxurious savasana and Jessica will sound the gong and other sound healing instruments while you rest. We’ll close our circle with a special ceremony and of course lots of treats!
This is an indoor practice with an optional outdoor ceremony to follow. Space is very limited and cancelations are accepted until 24 hours prior to the event. This is one of Soul Strong’s most treasured events and you’ll want to reserve your spot early. It always sells out!
*Optional: if you attended the June solstice event, please bring the letter you wrote to yourself this summer.
