The Art of the Private Session: Singing Bowls on the Body — $499
A Hands-On Intensive for Seasons of Sound Graduates
Many of you have asked for the next step: how to work one-on-one with metal singing bowls. The Art of the Private Session is a six-hour intensive on creating a one-to-one sound session that feels effortless for the client and confident for you. When a singing bowl rests on the belly, the back, or the palms, the client feels the sound as much as they hear it. It is intimate, grounding, and deeply relaxing.
Sunday, November 1, 2026, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Soul Strong Yoga in Round Rock, led by Jessica Cross. Small group so everyone gives and receives every technique with direct feedback.

What You’ll Learn
- Welcoming the client: a simple intake conversation and consent script, including an off-body option for anyone who prefers it
- Creating a comfortable environment: room setup, lighting, props, and bolstering
- Choosing your bowl: why metal bowls go on the body and crystal bowls stay off, and how weight, size, and tone shape the experience
- Bowl placement: belly, chest, upper back, sacrum, thighs, palms, and feet, and how to strike and rim a bowl resting on someone
- Pacing and sequencing: building a session with a beginning, middle, and end
- Breathwork, meditation, and mudra: simple ways to open and close so the sound has a container
- Structuring a session: done-for-you sequences you’ll practice during the training
You will spend most of the day giving and receiving. By the end, you will have a complete 60-minute private session you can offer right away and an intake and consent process you trust.
This is a fully clothed, instrument-based practice. There is no massage or hands-on adjustment.
