Slow down and experience the sacred in everyday nourishment. This Mindful Evening invites you into a gentle exploration of joyful presence through fruit, tea, and sensory meditation. Together we will reflect on how simple moments of eating and drinking can become practices of gratitude, awareness, and connection. This session focuses on feeling at ease with food and reconnecting with the pleasure of the present moment rather than rules, restriction, or dieting.

A Monthly Gathering for Mindful Living

Mindful Evenings with Julie is a monthly small group experience centered on mindful living, meditation, and self reflection. Each gathering includes a short talk on mindfulness or yoga philosophy, guided meditation, gentle breathwork, and quiet time for journaling and reflection. Julie Afsahi, owner of Soul Strong Yoga and a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher through The Path, offers an accessible and grounded approach that supports calm, clarity, and practical awareness for daily life.

These evenings are designed to help you slow down, reset your nervous system, and reconnect with what matters. Classes take place in Soul Strong Yoga’s Meditation Room in the Loft and are seated and reflective rather than a movement practice. Themes vary each month and all levels are welcome.
