Postnatal Yoga at Soul Strong
Babies are welcome to attend with you

Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

Postnatal Yoga is open to new parents at any stage after childbirth. This class focuses on gently rebuilding strength and stability in the core, back, and pelvic floor while easing tension in the neck, shoulders, and upper body. It offers a supportive space for healing, self care, and connection with others navigating early parenthood.

Students are encouraged to move at their own pace and honor their bodies’ needs as they regain energy and balance. This nurturing practice helps relieve stress, promote relaxation, and support mindfulness during the transition into life with a new baby.

We offer one Postnatal Yoga class each week and babies are welcome in class.

Benefits of Postnatal Yoga

Postnatal Yoga offers so much more than gentle movement, it’s a restorative and empowering practice designed to support you through the physical and emotional transitions of life after birth. Here are just some of the ways Postnatal Yoga can benefit you:

Rebuilds Strength & Stability. Focused movement helps restore core and pelvic floor strength while improving posture and balance after childbirth.

Eases Aches & Tension. Relieve tightness in the neck, shoulders, and back — common areas of strain from feeding, carrying, and caring for your baby.

Supports Emotional Well-Being. Breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation foster calm, reduce anxiety, and support emotional recovery during the postpartum journey.

Boosts Energy & Vitality. Gentle movement helps increase circulation, release fatigue, and restore a sense of energy and lightness in the body.

Encourages Mind-Body Connection. Learn to tune into your body’s needs and rebuild trust in your strength, resilience, and intuition.

Promotes Relaxation & Rest. Deep relaxation practices help soothe the nervous system, reduce stress, and support more restful sleep.

Builds Community. Connect with other new parents in a supportive, understanding environment where you can share, laugh, and grow together.

Whether you’re returning to yoga or stepping onto your mat for the first time, our Postnatal Yoga classes at Soul Strong offer a safe and nurturing space to rebuild, reconnect, and rediscover your strength… inside and out.
