Anxiety affects so many of us and can manifest in the body in various ways. In this workshop, we will learn how to recognize our anxiety by increasing the mind-body connection and how to manage the physical symptoms of stress better. Somatic release refers to moving our bodies in ways to reduce stress and alleviate its symptoms, such as tight shoulders, neck tension, headaches, and more. This 90-minute workshop will include learning techniques such as mindfulness, muscle relaxation, and Yin yoga poses to practice full muscle release. Whether this is your first time joining our Yoga for Anxiety Workshop or you are a returning student, there will be lots to learn!
