At Soul Strong Yoga, we love offering experiences that help you feel both energized and deeply supported—and Heated Yoga is one of those special offerings. If you’ve never tried a warm class before, think of it as that sweet spot between a cozy blanket and a good workout. It’s not hot yoga (think 100+ degrees), but it’s warm enough to get your body moving and your stress melting away.
Here’s why so many of our students are falling in love with Heated Yoga—and why you might, too:
1. Muscle Warmth = Greater Flexibility
The warmth in the room allows your muscles to loosen more quickly, which can help you move deeper into poses—safely. This is especially beneficial if you’re dealing with stiffness from sitting at a desk all day or recovering from an intense workout. You’ll feel more open and mobile, right from the start of class.
2. Improved Circulation & Detoxification
A gently heated space helps increase circulation, supporting heart health and encouraging the release of toxins through sweat. While “detox” can be a buzzword, what we’re really talking about here is a boost to your natural systems: better blood flow, lymphatic drainage, and that wonderful post-class glow.
3. Supports Mental Focus
The warmth creates an environment that invites you to be fully present. It’s easier to drop into your breath and tune out distractions when the heat gently wraps around you like a hug. Many students say warm yoga feels like a moving meditation—it becomes easier to let go of stress and just be in your body.
4. Safe & Supportive for Joints
Unlike high-impact workouts, warm yoga is gentle on the joints. The heat helps reduce stiffness and tension while also allowing for greater mobility in a controlled way. For those recovering from injuries or managing chronic tension, warm yoga can be a healing part of your wellness toolkit.
5. Mood-Boosting Magic
There’s something undeniably uplifting about a warm yoga room—especially in colder months or on days when your energy feels low. The heat encourages your body to release feel-good endorphins, and by the end of class, you’ll feel both grounded and elevated. It’s like sunshine for your soul.
What to Expect in a Soul Strong Warm Yoga Class
Our warm yoga classes are heated to a comfortable 85–90°F—not sweltering, just pleasantly warm. You’ll still get all the benefits of a regular yoga class: breathwork, strength, stretch, and mindfulness—but with the added bonus of that cozy warmth. We recommend bringing water, a towel, and an open mind.
