We believe what we repeat in our minds. Research shows we have more than 6,000 thoughts each day. Some are positive, some neutral, but some negative thoughts can get in the way of our ability to lead our best, happiest, most fulfilling lives.
Positive affirmations are thoughts that help release is from negativity, fear, worry, and anxiety. When repeated, these positive ideas begin to take charge of your thoughts, and slowly, over time, can change your pattern of thinking. Even resistance to these positive thoughts can bring insights.
Shifting our perspective is a choice, and takes practice. Join Maura for a 90-minute Flow and Stretch class exploring affirmations. Half the class will be a feel-good flow, the other half will incorporate yin poses. We’ll move energy around, balance chakras, calm our nervous system and open the mind.
Bring a pen and journal; there will be time at the end of class to note down any reflections. We’ll glean some insights, reduce stress, and help you feel lighter and free heading into the holidays!
