Wanna get a dang good stretch and bring in some good, healing vibes for your mind and body? Join Julie for a 75-minute yin yoga (that’s the stretchy kind of yoga) and meditation practice. In this practice, Julie will guide you through awakening each of your chakras with movement, breathwork, and meditation. Why would you want to awaken your chakras? Well by doing this yin and meditation practice, your prana (breath/life force) will be able to more easily travel through your body. Long story short, you’ll feel refreshed, freer, and more clear headed. Also, you’ll probably be ready for a good night’s sleep. $15.00 (Members can use their promo code for 15% off)

No idea what chakras do? No problem! Look below for more chakra information!

What should I wear?

PJs, yoga clothes, or anything that you can easily stretch in.

What supplies do I need?

You can use your yoga mat or just throw a blanket on the floor.

For those who don’t have yoga props at home, bring 2 pillows, a big old t-shirt rolled so it can function as a yoga strap, a small blanket, a bath towel, and a washcloth to go over your eyes.

For those who do have yoga props at home, bring your bolsters, blocks, a strap, yoga blanket, eye towel/pillow, and any other props you’d like.

What is a chakra?

The word chakra means wheel. The chakras are therefore thought of as energetic wheels throughout the body. Our energetic bodies and our physical bodies are greatly linked. Blockages or imbalances in the chakras can often show up as physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual imbalances and vice versa. Yoga asana, breathwork, energy work, and aspects of Chinese medicine work deeply to balance the chakras.

How can I learn more about the chakras?

Go to Mallory’s Chakra Talk on June 6th at 2:30 pm.
