Whether you’re new to “vinyasa flow” or a long-time practitioner looking to brush up on your alignment, this 2 hour workshop is for you. If you’ve been to a drop-in class, you’ve probably heard an instructor cue, “Now move through your vinyasa.” Well, in this workshop Clara Hayes will break down what the heck we mean by that! While vinyasas are often repeated throughout class, they’re also one of the easiest areas to fall into unsafe alignment. Our goal is to send you out the door with the knowledge to sustain your vinyasa practice for life! We’ll start with some discussion around the history and concepts behind vinyasa flow. Then, we’ll move into a dynamic practice to warm up the body before we break down the vinyasa, as well as the full Sun Salutations A & B. Lots of modifications will be provided for every pose!
