I'm willing to bet that you know who you are at the very deepest center of your being. I'm talking about the part of you that knows no fear, that is infinitely loving, wise, and always has the answer, that knows all that ever matters is love.
Many of us have had fleeting moments of connection to this Self. I usually experience this sense of knowing and ease when I'm in meditation, or when I'm practicing yoga, or when I'm completely in alignment with my purpose through teaching or writing. Sometimes I feel it when I cuddle with my pup or when I hug a loved one.
And then the inevitable stress of life happens and I find myself moving farther and farther away from that Self. All of a sudden, I become so caught up in what needs to get done, fears about the future, how I’m not doing or being enough, and that sense of deep inner alignment isn’t at the forefront anymore.
But even when life throws us its curveballs, it is always possible to wake up from the trance of separateness and ground back to the core of who we are. Sometimes all we need is time for ourselves- away from everything else- to remember the infinite love that has been there all along.
The Return to Self Half Day Retreat is all about taking the time for ourselves to come home to who we truly are when everything else is stripped away. Enjoy four hours of self-exploration, deep relaxation, and sweet community. It’s about showing up to nurture yourself so that you can then nurture the world.
Join us as we move through a gentle yoga flow before settling into a refreshing yoga nidra. We’ll have some reflective free time to enjoy catered goodies and create our own aromatherapy spray. Then, Jessica will guide you into relaxing, supported poses while she bathes your energy in sound therapy through Himalayan singing bowls.
