Want to explore yoga for the first time or brush up on your practice? This Beginners Series will be light-hearted and provide a safe, fun space to explore the many poses of yoga and how to “flow” in a yoga class. Julie will guide the class through not only proper alignment, but finding the best alignment for your body. The class will learn about and practice foundational yoga poses, such as upward salute, the three warrior poses, triangle, extended side angle, and balancing poses. We will also use yoga props, like blocks, blankets, bolsters, and straps to get a deeper stretch and better balance in a variety of poses.
Julie, a Soul Strong Yoga teacher and co-owner, is passionate about bringing yoga to all people, all bodies, and all levels. She is honored to introduce students to the amazing health benefits yoga provides for both the body and mind in a small group setting.
This class is capped at 8 students to provide individualized attention. We will meet at Soul Strong Sanctuary (our smaller studio on 503 E Main St.) on Mondays from 5:30PM-6:30PM from April 8th-29th. Book HERE.
